I've cut back my caffeine this month to help TTC and IM DYING

Can I ask what you ladies who drink alcohol do about the TWW? Do you totally abstain? I allow myself to drink if I want to during the first week before likely implantation, but not during the second week.

Is anyone in Melbourne? Good luck with the heat!!

I drink, but I am not a big drinker anyway. The embryo either isn't implanted, or is still living off the yolk sac while the placenta develops in the TWW. By the time you find out is the time you need to stop drinking. JMO.

During pregnancy you're allowed 2 cups of coffee and/or 1 cup of tea per day. Don't stress about cutting things out completely. Everything in moderation, that's the key to success.

I agree about the moderation comment- that's why I'm cutting down from 4-5 espressos a day to 1 espresso a day + 1-2 cups of tea!

I have made the switch to decaf green tea. I don't drink coffee so I'm lucky and the other teas I drink are safe for pregnancy.

I don't drink coffee either, and I don't drink alcohol. So that's all easy for me.
If I drink anything, it's tea, but I don't "need" it.

A note to everyone though, as many would expect it to be the opposite, but TEA is NOT better than COFFEE. The recommendation for tea is lower than coffee.
