AFM... unfortunately the HPT says BFN. Today is 10dp6dt. AF is due today, just tiniest colour so far. Will wait until she's here properly before phoning clinic and make new appointments. Phoned and made a new appointment with Dr M (shaking head, really wondering why). Keep hoping that my sister's donor eggs will do the trick, but that's two used, two to go. Looking like it's nothing to do with the eggs and all to do with me. Strangely though there's no explanation - uterus perfect, lining perfect etc. It's hard just to blame it on percentages - would like a more definite reason than that, but I know there isn't one.

Bertie, I am very sorry. That is so very upsetting.

I think that whilst you should definitely look into what issues your body might have, to me this BFN is not a sign that it must be your body and not the eggs.

Your sister is 39 and so it's a gamble like we've all taken with our own eggs as we've gotten older.

I'm thinking of you and I really hope you get your answer and a BFP soon.

Mrs Erin... yes, her age is definitely something, however her eggs and blast rate and thaw rate have been excellent. But yes, if her last two embies don't work in the next two FETs, then we'll be off to SA at Xmas/Jan for some super young eggies, and see if they do the trick.

Don't give up Bertie! I had both an egg and a uterus issue but they didn't discover the uterus issue until after we had good donor eggs. We did our first cycle on the Czech Republic, which we found great! Then my doctors back here did some different tests and I was treated with lipiodol to neutralise some cells in the lining of my uterus. They are a bit different to the regular 'killer' cells that most people are treated for. We went back to the Czech Republic and we now have one year old twins as a result!
Don't give up, it can be a big puzzle but have hope

Alice... thanks for that. I'll start researching that now. The only thing they've ever said about my lining is that the thickness is always perfect for ET.

Emski..... thanks for thinking of me. I often think about you too, since we had very similar journies at the beginning, you just getting to SA before me :-) It's always wonderful when I think how far you are almost there, it makes me quite excited that it could be me one day too. Sitting in hospital at the moment waiting for IVIG to start - they always take ages, haven't even put the canula in yet, but nothing wrong with enforced bed rest!!
