    Default A question for the exercisers about hair washing

    I have just started running and on the days my husband isn't around to watch bub while I run, I take her with me and just walk. But my hair always gets sweaty, so I feel like I should wash it after I exercise but on a good week that could mean washing my hair 5 times which is way more then I like as it means my colour won't last! So I'm just wondering what everyone else does, do you wash every time you exercise or wear your hair "dirty" for a day or more?

    I keep mine dirty if I'm just staying at home. If I'm going out and about and depending on where, I'll wash it.

    This!! And dry shampoo if I am going out and really couldn't be bothered washing my hair!

    I always wash mine. I can't stand it when my hair is sweaty.

    Dry shampoo can get you an extra day or 2. I just tie mine up when I'm around home. I'll wash it if I'm going out tho

    I wash mine every second day normally. If I've got a few days off and am exercising all of those I just leave 3-4 days. Usually just put it in a bun.

    I wash mine twice a week only and use dry shampoo in between. My hair us in much better condition since I started doing this a few years ago!

    I exercise 2-3 times most days, I get super sweaty lol. I tie it up & wash it 2-3 times a week. I figure it's probably healthier for your head to be sweaty, then it is to wash your hair twice a day.

    Sometimes I just rinse mine with water, gets the sweat out but doesnt necessarily strip the good oils or colours etc out .

    If I've been for a big run, or it's a particularly warm day I'll wash, otherwise dry shampoo as needed for less strenuous workouts. I don't like to wash it more than a couple of times a week.
