    Default 12 month old sleeping a lot...

    My baby has only just started crawling in the last week. She's been on one nap most days now for a while. At night she goes to bed at 6 and often sleeps until 7:30. She very rarely wakes before 7 and has a 2.5-3 hour nap from about 11/11:30.

    She was sleeping well before she started crawling, but not this much. She's not sick or anything. I do worry, though.

    I think enjoy it while it lasts! if she has just started crawling she is probably just tiring herself out even more with all that moving around.

    That seems normal to me, my Bub sleeps 12 hours a night (usually 8 pm to 8 am), and has two naps a day (10 am to 11:30 am, and 3 pm to 5 pm).
    My Bub is walking around the furniture and just wears herself out I think

    My 11 month old is now sleeping more than she ever did! She has started cruising and spends all day standing or crawling, doesn't sit still.... she has two naps of 1-2 hours each (roughly at 10am and 230pm) and had started sleeping from 7pm - 8am (wakes up at 530/6 for a feed and straight back to sleep).... she always used to be up at the crack of dawn! I'm loving it

    I wouldn't tell anyone and I'd just sit down and stare at a wall while bub naps. Secret downtime!!!!!

    Dd is 18 months and still sleeps 2 x 2 hour naps and 12-13 hours overnight. I'm going to mention it to gp at her 18 month immu's but I'm not really that worried - she's an active child, I figure she's just wearing herself out.

    So today she woke at 7, went down for a nap at 10:50 and didn't wake until 2:30. She was grumpy at 6:30, ready for bed.
