    Default Refresh my memory pls...

So I have just found out I am pregnant. LMP was 11th dec. I went for my first blood test and it can back that i am around 1-2 weeks as of the 8th jan. Does that sound right? I have to go back for another blood test to check if levels are rising. If they are then I can book in for a dating scan. I don't remember going for a second blood test last pregnancy though. I have had 2 miscarriages in the past though.

Do you mean 8 December? If you do that sounds about right - so you'd have been 3-4 weeks pregnant going from your LMP and 1-2 weeks from conception.

Does everyone usually go for 2 blood tests to see if progressing? And what happens next with appts?

I think it depends on the Dr and/or previous pregnancy history as to whether people go back for more tests or not.

Quite a few people seem to.

Because I had a miscarriage 6 months ago I've had about 4 blood tests just to reassure me that my hcg is rising.

Thanks green cheese!! That's probably why they're doing so many blood tests with me too! X
