does public vs private make a difference or is it a state based thing? In in SA.

The reason I ask is that I had mine over a week ago. Results sent to the Ob and of course tell me nothing. But I peeked at the numbers. Fasting was 5.6 then after an hour was 8.5 - does this mean I failed? I don't know what the number was after 2 hours because they didn't write anything down in front of me.
Yes the 8.0 is after the 2 hours is over

So you got 8.5 from the first / 1 hour test and 5.6 from the second / fasting and 2 hour test?

That means you failed the first (which is why you had a second test) but passed the second, which means that you're ok.

I think she means that she did the 2hour test and they did a bt after an hour then at 2 hours. Some places do that apparently

Yup sorry about that, I wasn't very clear.

I had a blood test when I first got there, after fasting. Then I drank the sugary drink and then they took my bloods after 1 hour - which is where the 8.5 came from.
They then took my blood again after 2 hours but I don't know what that number was. They didn't tell me and my Ob hasn't contacted me to come in and discuss any results.

I just failed mine. 4.4 for fasting, 7.2 after 1 hr and 9.2 after 2nd hour. My fasting was fine because it's under 5 but the 2 hour one was bad.

They never rang me. I found out at my appointment with the midwife 4 days later.
