It was such a relief as that's when we found out with DD2 about her having no amniotic fluid etc and ended up loosing her just before 20 weeks so this is a very anxious time for us all.
I am so happy for you French pear! I hope that has eased a little of the anxiety. You are nearly half way through too, fantastic! I'm sure once you are past that 20 week mark that you have been focused on, time won't seem to go so slowly.

I'm 36+4 today and feeling okay, I run out of energy pretty easily but that's to be expected. When I do too much- like yesterday- my body really tells me, my back was killing me last night. So I'm trying to take it slowly but still get all the stuff done that I want to (which is a lot haha).

I have my blessing way on Sunday which I'm really looking forward to. It's like a hippie version of a baby shower

@French Pear, that is so good to hear! I found after the morph scan my anxiety definitely started to improve. I hope you're the same. And it was definitely easier mentally getting past the halfway mark, knowing that more time was behind you than what was left to go.

I'm 32w4d today. Feeling quite low-energy but I'm hoping a few more days on iron tablets (started on Tuesday) will pep me up, that and if I could get a good night's sleep...

OB confirmed yesterday he will take bubba out during my 38th week, so only 6 weeks to go until we meet our little boy!!!

I just want to take this last bit of time fairly easy I think. I've almost finished knitting bubba's blanket and I'll just do a couple of activities during the week but not much. This week I started going to an antenatal catch up with other mums-to-be which is run through my OB's practice and is hosted by a midwife. Great opportunity to meet others and to ask the midwife those burning questions.

I'm feeling pretty organised now too. Only a few more baby-related bits and pieces to buy and then we'll have everything that we need, I hope.

@French Pear, so happy to hear all is going well. I saw your diary entry, what a cute lil guy.

I'm 36+1, time feels kinda like it's dragging for me. Trying not to think too much about everything. I'm no worse off physically than I was 10 weeks ago really! At 24 wks I felt like I was 32 wks! My tummy is getting pretty uncomfy though. Really low and tight.
Ready for it to be baby time, hoping it's only 3 weeks

@Cat74, do you do a lot of knitting? I've made a few things for the baby, hoping it's cold enough here for her to wear them!

@Bluebirdgirl, this blanket is the first thing I've knit since grade 8 home economics! I am really enjoying it though there are a few mistakes in the bottom rows of it, but they're not too noticeable. It's been a good exercise for me in learning to let go of the perfectionist within.

I'm a bit the same as you. Here in Brisbane today it's 28 degrees. Whether bub gets to use the blanket this year is debatable but it's big enough that it'll be fine for next winter too.

So much sadness here in this thread. But so much hope as well. I'm sending good wishes down the line for all of you. I'm currently about 7 +3 with my dating and viability scan on Monday. This is my 7th pregnancy and I have a DS who's nearly 3. I had FX and my toes but I'm also trying not to get my hopes up. My husband and I have made the decision that this is the last try. And I guess that makes me both extra nervous and a little relieved that I won't have to go through this all more than one more time.

Welcome kwazzi - good luck with your pregnancy.

I'm 36+2 and exhausted. I'm finding it hard to get out of the house with dd at the moment as she just takes off, I'm getting a bit of cramping walking around much, today I got a few really small jobs done though. Just feel like hibernating in the cold wet weather.

    Welcome @Kwazii! for your pregnancy!

I was on my feet a lot yesterday and now I've got ligament pain on the left side of my groin. I'm trying not to limp or waddle but it's quite uncomfortable. Last night I had dinner with a friend of mine who's a physio and she said all there is to do to get it feeling better is rest and maybe a hot pack.

At times during this pregnancy I feel I've lived every one of my 40 years twice and I'm physically falling apart. I'm really hoping that once bub comes I can get some form of physical fitness back, even if it takes awhile.

@Colbie a blessing way..? This sounds lovely. What happens at a blessing way? I hope you have a lovely time on Sunday how is your back feeling?

@Cat74 I'm hoping I will be able to take my first breath of this pregnancy at around 24 weeks, it's my next goal to achieve. I'm so impressed with your knitting! You will have to post a photo of the blanket. I'm sure it will be used for years to come. Im feeling you on the lost fitness being on bed rest for so long mine is long gone!

@Bluebirdgirl wow you are getting so close too. It must be so nice to have the end in sight? What things have you made for bubba? I'd love to see them.

@Kwazii sorry for your losses and congratulations on this pregnancy,I really hope this one is a super sticky one for you.

@Green Cheese it's hard enough to be motivated when it's cold and wet let alone when your 36 weeks pregnant! Are you finding to hard day to day with your DD at this stage or it's not too bad?

There is going to be a very busy few weeks of babies due in a few weeks! Can't wait to see all that squishy goodness
