    Welcome Riri,
    I too had 2 miscarriages back to back and it turns out it was just bad luck so I very much hope the same for you. The first trimester was a struggle for sure and so many doubts. I think I only started to relax after the 12 week scan. Hope this is a sticky bubba for you.

    Good luck for tomorrow French Pear, my spotting was every day at first then every 2nd then every 3rd and then it went away all together so it can come and go. I am convinced it was my low lying placenta that caused it.

    I just had to go to the dentist for some emergency treatment. Had such a bad toothache so have had a partial root canal done which will be completed after the baby is born and they can do x-rays. Hope once the local anaesthetic wears off it's not too painful cos panadol won't do much.

    Hope everyone else is doing well.

    I've seen my OB and had a scan. Baby is a-ok in there!

    My OB said that he think it will be old blood from my bleed and that unfortunately I'm probably going to keep experiencing the spotting/discharge/bleeds of old blood until its fully cleared and just as long as its brown blood, it's ok. So just to take things easy and come in to see him whenever I'm worried, he did offer twice weekly appointments if I would like, but I think I'm ok with seeing him weekly.

    I stop my progesterone pessaries on Friday as ill be 12 weeks and the placenta will have taken over and then back next week for another scan.

    So all in all good news today - what a relief.

    How's the tooth today? Hope it's not giving you too much trouble

    It's good to hear others have experienced spotting and the like during their pregnancies. It's just so worrying!
    @Cat74
    I've been watching game of thrones. I'm addicted now. So it's been good to have something to distract me.

    @French Pear, Game of Thrones is a brilliant distraction! I just love it. It's so easy to get engrossed in the story with such strong characters. I'm about to go back and read the last couple of books again once the series finishes because the TV show has glossed over so much of the detail.

    So glad you got positive news today French Pear. Always a relief to see that baby is fine.

    My tooth is surprisingly good today, I can't put any pressure on it as it is sore from the procedure but at least the horrible toothache has gone away which makes me think the problem has been at least temporarily solved.

    @Cat74 GOT is so addictive but after all the excitement of season 3 I haven't found season 4 as exciting. I haven't read the books, that might be next on the list if I have to go back on bed rest, they look very long and involved!

    @Riri I'm the same I always have to have that early scan to believe that something is actually happening in there, add that to my POAS addiction for the first few weeks.. Now I'm on constant knicker investigation checking for red blood - its exhausting! Will you be about 6 weeks next week?

    @Meeksie80 hopefully it stays solved for the rest of your pregnancy!

    AFM - same as yesterday and day before, spotting is the same but still brown. I have given myself eye strain being on high alert knicker watch checking for red blood, I'm going to need glasses soon
