I felt the same as all you ladies. It's sad when the innocence is gone. I only had one innocent pregnancy though, my first. After that I got exposed to things that can happen via people I knew and then the darn internet.

once you get past the scans it seems to become is the baby moving enough? Well it has been for me with the anterior placenta.
I can't say it goes away after the baby is born either. I would look to see if my last guy was still breathing so many times. And he was my fifth child! I think I was neurotic for the first 6 months with him for no reason.

Had my 19-week scan this morning and everything is looking good. Nice strong heartbeat and bubba was jumping around in there. Organs all formed properly. Huge relief! Bubba is measuring 19w5d (I'm 19w3d) so all my worry about not putting on much weight was for nothing. Bubba is exactly right.

And we are having a boy!

Still have to see OB on Monday to confirm whether an amniocentesis is needed (I'm 40) but hopefully all good!
