    Hi Ladies,

It's been a while since I posted, my job is very full on at the moment so I have very little free time. Day off today so am loving hanging out with DD.

Welcome to the newbies on this thread and I hope that everything goes smoothly for you.

I was going to try and stress less since we saw a heartbeat at 6.5 weeks, well I am not doing too well. I just can't seem to convince myself that everything will be ok this time. I am hanging out for next Friday when I can have another scan. Then it will only be another 2 ish weeks till the 12 week scan and then if all goes well I think I will be able to relax.

I have horrible nausea especially at night, no vomiting yet but I have come close a few times.

    Hi everyone,

Well today went just wonderfully!! Had a really lovely ultrasound man who was just so kind and was able to show me our baby's heartbeat straight away and then let me listen to it. Can't even describe that feeling. Hb was 162 which he said was perfect, size was spot on 8 weeks (now I understand I must have ovulated really early - we've been puzzled as we were trying to avoid another pregnancy so soon after the last) and baby was moving positions. He was very encouraging.

Hope everyone else is doing well!!!

Lou, that's wonderful news you had an awsome scan

Just back from the hospital. They can't find a reason for the spotting. Bub is measuring spot on what I estimated, a day ahead of what my lmp does. Saw a flicker of the hb as well at 5w5d. Hb isn't reassuring for us though, seen it with both our angels but its step 1 I guess. Sooooo, I just have to play the waiting game and take it easy. Why does this have to be so stressful

Can I join ladies? Im 7+2 preg after our dd was born sleeping back in oct at 21 weeks. I feel ok not too stressed out but I think thats mainly because I dont feel pregnant I forget I am all the time. It just feels very surreal still. Be helpful to chat with women who are in a similiar situation.

Welcome melimum, I think I was in your due group from your angel so was very sorry to hear of your loss. Congrats on your pregnancy, hoping for a stress free 8 months ahead.

Thanks green cheese! Congrats to you too, when are you due??

I have my dating scan tomorrow. I'm very anxious to see bubs heart beating but a part of me is saying "doesn't mean a thing if its beating" our angel had a strong beating heart and we still didnt get to keep her. Trying to keep my positive pants on but i just want to get past our 20 week scan as thats when all the issues were discovered last time..... its going to be a slow journey.

Melimum, good luck for your scan today. Let us know how you go.

It will be a long journey but just take each day as it comes. One day at a time...

    How's everyone else doing?
