Hi ladies, I was hoping I could officially join. I'm taking crazy to a new level. I'm 4 weeks exactly today. I just feel like I'm waiting to mc, only DH and my mum know but they both keep telling me one minute to relax and then the next to not get excited because we don't know what's going to happen.

    Hi Cass! Welcome

I think the very first words from my DH the morning we got the last couple of positives were - "Don't get your hopes up". I think they just see how hard we fall and try to keep us prepared mentally.

But - congratulations, you've been able to fall pregnant and I very much hope you stay that way.

Welcome to all the newbies, I'm glad there's some new pregnancies in here but sad that we have the shared experience of loss bringing us together. I hope everyone has a smooth pregnancy ahead.

I'm hanging out for my 12 week scan next Wed, only a week to go. Thought I'd relax once we got past the 8 week scan which is when we found out our last pregnancy wasn't viable. But still struggling to connect and trust that there will be a babe in arms come August.

Thanks, I'm trying not to get snappy with them because I know they just hate seeing me upset when it goes wrong.

Hi ladies I guess I should join you all as well. Got my bfp this morning at 11dpo and i am freaking out BIG time

We had our 2nd mmc in November which was unfortunately drawn out and still resulted in a d&c almost 4wks later. We also had a mmc in late 2010 hence why I'm so scared. I sat in the bathroom and cried this morning with a mixture of joy and fear

we won't be having a scan until 10ish weeks. both mmc's shown us perfect little beans with healthy hb at dating scans then nothing the next time, passing at about 8.5-9wks. It will be the longest 6wks to have to wait but I will have plenty to hopefully keep me occupied. Hopefully I won't suffer the dreaded 24/7 vomiting ms again like I did with dd and the last pregnancy!
