Dr Chris Hughes is amazing! He's a gentle giant and has a team of midwives that work with him! They don't deliver but can see you throughout too! Chris delivers at Calvary and North Eastern. And North Eastern was like staying in a hotel really!!!

    Hi Monnie,
I was just wondering if you'd be happy to share your experience with Dr Yoong with me? I have had one appointment with him (no concerns so far) but I'm trying to get some other opinions before I travel too far down the road with him. I have PCOS and need some help to O as my hubby and I are TTC. Thanks, Caity

That sounds like a horrible experience! I can understand why you would be furious. Thank you so much for sharing. I have noticed lots of people speak highly of Dr Lam so hopefully I'll be able to switch over to him or Linda.

You can if you haven't paid management fee ☺️ they are usually very understanding

I'm still TTC, but I'm hoping to see dr lane as I live nearby his offices and have only heard good things.

One question: how soon do you need to book in, and how do you manage that? I've heard that you need to see an OB by five weeks or they'll be booked out! So you're meant to do a HPT, get an appt with your GP to confirm (with bloods, I assume), get a referral and get booked in all within three weeks? Sometimes it's a week wait or more just to get a GP appt.

Does anyone have any insight on the timeline you can share with me?

I would book an appointment as soon as you get a positive hpt. You can get your referral later, as long as you have it by your first appointment with the ob.

Yep, what Tinkers said. I left it till 7 weeks with my first and struggled to find an ob with availability!
