The cooking pot is totally worth it, also consider cooking two packets so you don't need to cook it every second day. I cook mine out in the garage because I can't stand the smell, I hear the cooker alarm go off, pour out the mixture, add more water and wait for the next alarm to sound. Very simple after many months of cooking on the stove and accidentally tipping the whole lot down the sink on more than one occasion!

Haha beta, I must admit I did lose a bit when draining! I cooked up 2 lots last night as cooking them is bad enough but on a 40 degree day it would be unbearable... But now I'm getting them down a wee bit easier I'm more confident I can go the distance so will invest in the auto cooker! I wish I had somewhere else I could cook them so I don't stink out the whole apartment but I don't so I just shut the kitchen door and use a lot of nice smelling room spray!

I need to have a read back and catch up. My appointment tomorrow with my donor egg sister. It's been a year between cycles so ready to get going again.

If you have a balcony you could run an extension cord when you get the pot, just a thought.. I detest the smell clearly!
