Yeah it came sat afternoon. It came the day after the dreaded phn call last time too. It's like I hear those words unfortunately it's a bfn and my body goes in to a slump. How are you feeling Lilypily and babee? Any chance of a transfer soon or back for another blood test Monday babee?

Hi girls! So sorry for my absence, I've been completely of it, nauseous and been spending most of my non work hours asleep, all good though!

Flemo and Secondtimearound2 I'm so sorry to hear Sending you lots of hugs.

Flemo I felt the same as you, I was doubting my frozen blasts from cfc after a few bpn's of my best ones, but it turns out there was a baby hiding in there and so glad I used them. Try not to doubt yours too, you girls helped me to stop doubting mine. It's such a tough game not knowing 100% if it's a viable embryo, but eventually it will happen. So happy you're about to start another cycle!

Lilypily what a beautiful blast!! Arrrhh the 2ww never gets easier. Hope it's as stress free as possible for you.

Babee, great that you're starting a fet cycle. Good luck with the yucky needles.

Sue, thinking of you this week as you wait for your news.

Kelly how stressful for you, poor bub, sending you hugs. The hrt isn't too bad I'm only 6mg/Day plus and hasn't had any side effects. Really hope it helps.

Bao - how long have you been taking the HRT? I think I've been worried about taking it as from what I understand it stops you naturally producing hormones and so when you stop taking them (as the one I've been prescribed is only meant for short term use) I'm not sure if my natural hormones will kick back in? I know it's silly as clearly my hormones are not doing what they are meant to anyway so I shouldn't worry. I think I'm going to just go for it and see what happens, I guess I don't really have anything to lose right?!?

    Hi Kelly,

I've been on hrt on and off since dec 2013. It's used for fet cycles for me. I'm still on it now and will be on for another 6 weeks. I don't know too much about it regarding stopping hormones, but it's definitely worth a shot! All my fet cycles have been medicated as I don't produce normal hormones anyway. Good luck, I hope it does the trick for you.

Thank u so much Bao. I need your wishes badly. Getting really anxious as I don't want another stimulated cycle if we don't get good results.. Anyways . Just wanted to you girls, how are or dh or dp in dealing with the negative side of things? I have got the best dh who has always been there for me and we have been childhood sweethearts but I have noticed him getting more anxious than even me sometimes abt the whole situation.he cares so much for me but sometimes I just want him to be stronger than me which he is not being able to. Feeling very low.

Kellyk I'm so sorry to hear that you have been struggling, it's completly understandable. The best you can do is surround yourself with as many friends and experts that can help you through this (there are plenty of good drs and pyschologists out there but there r also plenty of not so good ones from my experience). I found some meditation apps online which sometimes helped me with anxiety (sometimes not so much). And if u r that way inclined there is a good book store in fitzroy that sells books on positive thinking and finding happiness, they r quite cheap so I bought a few. Sorry if this seems a bit like I'm preaching, I've suffered anxiety long before ivf so anything I've stumbled across I'm happy to share.

Thanks @Gabriel79 - preach away! Anxiety is AWFUL so I'm up for any suggestions on ways I can deal with it. Luckily I have a fabulous psychologist, she's amazing. But agree there are some shockers out there. Are there any good apps you would recommend? I've been using a quick 5 min breathing exercise on smiling mind but would like to check out some others.
