    Thanks @KayzB and @Gabriel79
Gab I just do the @ thing occasionally it just let's that person know they have been mentioned in a post via email I think? I don't think it matters if you don't do it tho particularly if that person is actively using/checking the forum x

Thanks Gabriel - that puts my mind at ease. I'm just so paranoid after my MC last time. I have to remind myself that these are not my old eggs... but still you can't help but worry.
Beta #2 is in @ 212 so it's just doubling (first was 111) - I was hoping for a big leap in the numbers, but I'll take doubling! I did go in earlier today than the other day too so I'm attributing that 10 points to that .
I have to have one more beta on Tues... wish I didn't but the SA clinic asked for it, then a scan with Lynn on the 22nd. After that I might just relax a bit more and accept that I'm UTD.

Seahorse... sorry to see you've had another negative cycle. I've had many failed attempts with my own eggs. So know how you're feeling when you feel like you've reached the end of your road with your own eggs.

Is this your first appointment with Lynn? She has a lot of tricks up her sleeve, but if she thinks you should move on to other options, she'll tell you.

Lynn is monitoring me on my donor cycle so I'm not up with where everyone is up to in here too well.

    Em x

Welcome to the newbies, you have definitely made the best choice. I've written my story a few times on this thread so apologies to those who already know...
I moved from MIVF because we weren't getting any testing done and after 6 cycles and a mc it looked like no further investigations were going to happen.
First cycle with Lynn we tried adding different drugs as a few issues came up with me when she did testing and I fell pregnant but lost baby at 17 weeks from another issue altogether. However second cycle with Lynn three months later and I fell pregnant again and I am 28 weeks today!
It has been the longest and hardest road but you just have to stick with it and demand answers when things don't add up. This thread has been the best for me when I went to see Lynn as I could speak to others about what protocol they were on and compare notes and the girl who started this thread is now a mumma of twins from her first cycle with Lynn after many cycles at MIVF.
So I wish you girls enormous luck and if it doesn't work first up don't be disheartened, Lynn has so many tricks up her sleeve she will find the right recipe.

Lily: I'm really sorry about your bfn. I was following along on your ttc diary and hoping it would work. I just hope one of those frozen embies is your baby!

    Beta- how are you going?

Emski- how are you? How was South Africa???
16 weeks congrats on 28 weeks!

Hi Emski I had a few beta hcg tests (although mine were later than 13dpo) and one test went from 400 to 753 in the second I panicked that it didnt quite double (went nuts on google) but then they made me do a third three days later and it more than doubled. So I think your result look great and a few hours can make a difference in my experience. Sending u my best wishes!

Congrats Emski! Very happy for you

Seahorse. How did you go with your appointment with Lynn? I am sorry for the bfn but please try not to lose hope. Try to not count your previous cycles and have faith on Lynn. I am sure she will make a plan for you. Sometimes things take more time than required but they do happen in the end. Thinking about you......

Hey seahorse I'm really sorry for your BFN. I hope your appointment with Lynn has answered some questions and given you some hope

Sue we ended up with 4 frosties which we are really happy about as we were led to believe we may end up with none!

I have my last pregnyl shot tonight and am using Clexane every night. I have big bruises and a big lump under the skin at one of the injection sites. I rang the nurse and she said to go to the local gp if I was worried. We get back to Melb tomorrow so will reassess then... I'm going to ask on Monday if there is an alternative to the Clexane shots.. Has anyone heard of one?

    Hi Babee,

I'm on clexane too. Do place the needle straight down, and pinch a good amount of tummy fat? They say that helps avoid bruising. Congrats on your 4 frosties! When is BT date?

Seahorse how are you sweets? I'm really sorry to hear. Have you got a new plan?

Sue, how did your Scan go? Do you have an EPU date?

Congrats to the preggie girls, so exciting

Well I'm pupo atm, 2dp5d frozen double transfer. Really hoping to find some signs... none yet aarrrhhh the damm wait again. Prepared for another bfn though.

Hey Bao congrats on being PUPO! Why are you thinking it's a BFN? Did Lynn recommend a double transfer? Thanks for your advice on Clexane will try tonight... I haven't had any symptoms at all so it sure what is going on in this tummy of mine... Blood test is the 2nd when is yours? Good luck!
