I got an infection after my hystroscopy and was on the most intense antibiotics and as a result got the worst thrush ever. It was a nasty piece of work. Anyway, keep dtd as uncomfortable as it is, and worry about it later.. Good luck

I think my transfer will either be Easter Sunday or Monday. My cycle is usually around 31 days so I don't ovulate until about day 17. Have you used the at home ovulation tests before? I've used some when I did an iui about 3 yrs ago although they were ones mivf provided. I don't even think these clear blue digital ones were out then.

Catttc how are you feeling? When are you due to have another scan. I hope this works out and you don't have to take this ivf path again

Hi all, am new here and just booked to see Lyn at the end of next month.

i have been with city fertility for 2 years (4 failed ivf cycles #2 was a m/c) and have decided to make the change for another opinion.

My question is I have been quoted $500 consultation fee with Lyn - do I get charged this every visit? How does it work?
Also is there a Medicare rebate.

Hi @Cevapa, I'm changing from CF as well & have my first appt with Lynn end of May too!
The $500 is just the initial consultation - I think subsequent ones are around $125 or so? I can't quite remember. And there was a Medicare refund from the $500, but I'm pretty sure the amount the receptionist told me wasn't much at all Ah well, let's hope all this $$ will be worth it hey!

@Cevapa sure was. But felt like I was getting nowhere with him. No proper testing done to rule out other contributing factors, no thorough investigation, crappy follow up about things..just felt like things were going nowhere. And I've heard only great things about Lynn, so have decided to make the move
