    Hi catttc
I'm not taking DHEA currently but am going back to see Lynn on Tuesday and going to ask her about it. Once I've seen her I'll let you know what I find out.
She will most likely put you on melatonin which is awesome as it makes you sleep really well. Also CoQ10, vitamin E, fish oil and a pre-natal vitamin. I'm. Also taking vitamin d as my levels are low.
I'll post again with more info Tuesday :-)

Hi kellyk78 I'm sorry to hear about your FSH result and I hope the 14th comes quickly. The waiting is alway horrible. I'm sure Lynn will have some tricks up her sleeve to lower it...I think I read in your earlier post that there were things that can be done to lower it.

Welcome Cattc! From what I have read you will be in very good hands!!

Im in a bit of limbo at the moment I got a positive beta last Saturday which was totally unexpected as I felt no different. My hcg and prgesterone levels a really really high but I have been experiencing pink and brown spotting .... althought my FS is not concerned at this stage but I am freaking out!
Anyway I am keeping my appoinmtment with Lynn for next month as I am so nervous that this won't work out.

    Hi ladies,

Thanks for your informative responses Riss and Kelly! You have definitely armed me with some good questions to ask and suggestions to make the most out of my meeting with Lynn! And you have assisted in helping me put my mind at ease a little!

Based in what you said Riss I may have to go on DHEA because when they checked my reserve the FS was a little shocked as she said my numbers were low for a lady with PCOS. I stand under correction but I believe my level was 8. something - not low but low enough to have caused concern for FS. They did however put me on a standard dose of Gonal F as they didn't want to over stim for fear of OHSS, so first stim got 14 eggs 10 mature and 6 fertilised. Of those 6 they all appeared to be lagging and I was called in for a transfer on day 3 but 2 pulled through and as previously mentioned the one was of exceptional quality. I questioned them after the first failed transfer about the numbers and having a few which weren't mature and a few which didn't fertilise but they didn't really answer that other than with the answer "some do and some don't" but I suppose how else are they meant to answer a question like that anyway?

Kelly my VitD levels are also low and I too am taking vitamins to boost them.

Hope you are all travelling well wherever it may be that you are in your cycles and your pregnancies.

Hi everyone, I was wondering if I could join this thread? I have been referred to Lyn and I am booked in 5th march a lil while away but I no it will be here before we know it!!
A couple of questions, if any of you could help? :-)
I currently see a doc from Melbourne Ivf if I decided to go with Lyn for Ivf what is the procedure? I have had 2 laps done resulting in my endo being burnt away, the last one was over 12 month ago and we have suspicions that my endo is back would she do another lap?
What would I expect on my first appointment?

    Thank you :-)

    Hi muzzy,
    Welcome!
After what you have said I think she would do another lap or hysteroscopy to check if everything is good. She normally would do this and a curette just before you start a new cycle as it can help with implantation.

Went and saw Lynn today and she said my last hope to get my FSH down us to take HRT pills -Trisequrns. Has anyone else taken these? I'm a bit he's titans to go down the road if HRT as I would rather try to naturally bring it down if I can. Am going to see The TCM dr this weekend and would like to give this a go first but I'm scared to wait too long! Decisions...
Cattc - I asked about DHEA and Lynn said she doesn't recommend it as the studies don't prove it makes any difference and it has nasty side effects like acne and facial hair. She has out others on it in the past so not sure if only recently she has looked into it further but she said the studies are far from conclusive.

Gabriel79 - hope all is going well so far :-)

    Muzzy - welcome!

    Hi Kelly,

Sorry I can't be of help re your FSH levels but seeing the TCM specialist will definitely help you to be able to do things the natural way however you will need to weigh up your options when you have all possibilities in front of you.

Strange about the DHEA as it appears she has put some on and as you mentioned not you. Do you know what your AMH levels are as maybe that has something to do with it?

No worries, I have just read back through the thread to read up on your history and see that you have low AMH levels, like you said maybe she has trialled it and feels it makes no difference? A bit confusing really?

Another question ladies, did your partner go with you to the initial appointment? My DH does FIFO from WA and he won't be here for the first appt because he is away. I figured it wouldn't be a problem because he has no issues. He has been tested at our last clinic and everything is good with him. Just don't want her to be expecting the 2 of us if you know what I mean? I think I am just paranoid but hey!
