Sue- 8-9 is a good number of mature follicles. I had that many at trigger but then there were 13 at pick up. They tend to grow a bit more with trigger. Good luck with pick up and just think the best eggs are the one that have grown. One of those is your baby!

Flemo- glad you had a great experience with Monash. It's so much better starting crinone earlier to allow the uterus to be plump ready for implantation. Can't believe MIVF made you take crinone the night of transfer. Erghh just mentioning Hossam's name makes my blood boil! Hehe

Gabriel- congrats!! Believe it and enjoy it!

Thank u all you lovely ladies for your good wishes

Riss 78 and Gabriel 79 your stories give so much hope.. Its just that we are doing PGD as well.. And u lose so many on the way... I just wanted numbers to be high...but don't know what Lynn must have planned for me.. Just trying not to stress. We were anyways suggested to do embryo banking from two cycles and send it to America for testing as it's the most comprehensive one.. So one month break in March and then planned to cycle again in April.... But seeing this number of follicles , I just don't know.. We hoped at getting 2,3 blastocysts for testing in this cycle and 2,3 in the next and then send it for testing as upto 8 embryos it is the same cost.. But I really don't think you can get 2 blastocysts from 8 follicles when you have quality issues as well. Rest is upto god....

I understand Sue that you must be feeling anxious. Aiming to get blasts can be nervewracking. To give you hope I got 6 blasties from 9 fertilised eggs with Lynn whereas I never got any to blasts at MIVF but got heaps of eggs. Fingers crossed you get the numbers you hope for. X

I have everything crossed for you sue I can assure you that they will make you very comfortable at the hospital. You even meet with the embryologist so if you think of any questions make sure you ask. Mivf never did this and we only found out the day of the transfer about our embryos. At least here they tell you how things are going as they grow etc. I got the call that 9 fertilised out of the 14, I was a bit disappointed. Sounds silly I know shouldn't be so ungrateful. At mivf we got 13 they all fertilised. We did however only have 2 blasties and 1 that barely made it to day 3. Can anyone answer the question what would be the reason for them not to all fertilise if they did last time. Is it just sperm related or could it be the egg quality? I'm a bit confused

Babee all the best for the 20th I bet you are counting down the days. Have you noticed any side effects from the clexane or pregnul shots ? How long do we normally need to do the clexane for?

Last time Lynn stopped the clexane for me at 7w 5d. I've got one left and I forgot to ring today to see if I should stop, hope so.
