    In my birth country, the northerners who are predominantly moslems don't vaccinate because of this reason. They say it will make their kids sterile... despite seeing their kids die in numbers from vpd including polio
    Majority are against western education also, preferring to send their kids to Islamic schools
    So the government tries its best to educate thinking illiteracy and religion is the basis of their refusal to vaccinate

    Now on immigrating to Aussie, I was stunned beyond words when I learnt there are non-vaxxers

    I guess they're just lucky they live in a developed nation/country
    They wouldn't do same in a developing/third world nation...and if they do the consequences are dire
