DS is 11 months and still fits rf with plenty of room to grow. We got an infa secure kompressor caprice for the higher rf markers. We live semi rural so when we drive we do long drives of at least an hour or more so will keep him rf as long as possible for the added safety

So, I'll be getting him a newer one which apparently goes up to about 12 months although I'd really love to find one that he can stay RF until he's 2...
Infasecure Neon or Kompressor or the Meridian SICT will all RF 2 and beyond, just depends on your preference, size of car, etc I love the Kompressor.

When I had 6 year old DD the law and common practice was you could turn once they were 6 months and 8kgs. I had friends who were turning their bubs from 5 months as they were already 8kg. I left for Canada before DD got to 8kg and the law there was they could be turned once they were 10kg and 12 months so we turned her at 1.

DS got to 8kg by 6 months but he'll get turned when he outgrows the height markers on the Hipod Milan.

I turned at 10months although I was a first time mum & just following along with what a friend did.
I know now I'd rather leave RF as long as possible (outgrows height/weight).

I love love love the new height markers. DS3 is 7 months and 8kg and he still has heaps of room in his capsule. Its fantastic, maked spending the $200 on the capsule worth it.
