I always have at least 1 frozen, usually banana. Makes the consistency like a slushee.

Here's my first attempt! It has blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, spinach, celery, cos lettuce, apple, orange, coconut milk and a little ginger. ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1389220107.883131.jpg
It's not very green! LOL! My blender did pretty well. Apart from the seeds from the berries the rest is a good consistency.

Well done, it looks great! How was it? I think if it tastes okay and you can drink it without vomiting then it's a success. I'm about to make a real green one...

Subbing, I always do the same thing everyday, or maybe substitute one fruit. Spinach/kale, Lebanese cucumber, ginger, parsley, mint, lemon, orange, apple, coconut water and ice.

Texture or taste? Or both? Do you think it can be saved if you add something else or just chuck it?

Mine tasted good it was think but smooth enough. I have a very sensitive chuck reflex if textures are too blergh.

You may need to put at least one kind of sweeter fruit like banana, berries or green apple

And personally I don't like mint in my smoothies even though I like it generally.

Yeh, I've put a fruit in the last two days, it's heaps nicer! I think you're right about the mint though! Thanks...
