Default should i pull them out now?

I have 2 kids 6 and 10 who have been booked in to 3 weeks of vocation care.
First was our first day, and they don't like it at all.
The 10 year old thinks it's boring as they only have "kids stuff" and there was only 2 others her age.
The 6 year old said she was bored and had no one to play with all day.
They were both quieter than usual on the way home.
I don't want to force them to go to something if they don't like it, but I think I'll lose all my money if they don't go...
    What do you all think?

Give it another day and visit them during the day and see how they are going

There will probably be more kids enrolled to come in the next few days or weeks, a lot of families are still on holidays. Have they got excursion days or any special activities planned that your kids want to do? Maybe if they are really bored they can just go some of the days? But yes I doubt you would get a refund if you pulled them out.

Ask for a copy of the program and see what special, activities might be coming up (movies, ice skating etc) and see if that sways them. Will it be hard to find alternative care for the rest of the hols? If you can find something else quickly and that fits in with your work needs then that might be worth pursuing? If they really hate it?

I know with my vacation care, i just need to hand it in writing if i am cancelling a minimim of 2 days before DS goes.

First week and half program of these holidays was boring but i sent DS as he has friends who go.

Sent from my GT-I9305T using The Bub Hub mobile app

Yes, they do have days where they do stuff, that's one reason we decided to do it. I don't work, so it's not huge deal but I know I'll lose the money which I'm not thrilled about. I'd decided to give it until the end of the week, and if they still don't seem to like it, I'll just send them on the excursion days.

If you don't need the care I'd keep them home and just do a couple of the excursion days. Or take them on excursions yourself? If they aren't enjoying it I don't think it's worth the money. Plus they should have a rest before school goes back. Being bored at a vacation program would be very draining, I imagine.
