@samilia I've just had a chemical pregnancy (levels dropped as of yesterday) I found my UPTS were getting lighter and eventually barely visible the pains mite be just the lining thickening or increased blood flow , I had mild cramps but only when the hcg was high now they've dropped these no cramping or tingles so I'm thinking it's not always a negative ,…positive thoughts… have my fingers crossed for 😊

I would get your bloods done tomorrow and then repeat bloods done on Friday because the number doesn't mean anywhere near as much as the doubling rate. You want to see it double in 48 hours. Make sure the referral is asking for "quantitative HCG" as that will give you a number, "qualitative HCG" just gives you a yes or no to whether or not you're pregnant. The fact that your tests are getting darker is a good sign that it's not a chemical pregnancy and cramping in early pregnancy is incredibly common. No bleeding is also a good sign.

    Hey goblin queen,
I said to the dr that I wanted to do it tomorrow and he said that it doubles every 30 hours to 3 days during this point in the pregnancy? And he said that would be a more appropriate time to do it. I can use a HCG doubling time calculator on the net to find out what the doubling time is even if I have taken the test 72hours apart yeah?? And yes it is a quant test. ......

So, I took a IC preg test this am which was half faint half dark... Then I just took one at 9pm TONIGHT and it was even darker than my FMU preggo test

Thanks for all your help, you are so caring xx

You are on a winner... A darkening line is extremely positive.

I had one in September last year. My hcg came back at 48. I had the usual symptoms of sore boobs and few cramps, but then the sore boobs stopped and I knew something was "not right". A few days later my hcg had dropped to 19 and then nothing worth noting (still getting pos on hpts for a week after low hcg result).

I really hope that yours goes better than mine did!!! Fx!!!
