Default I think I'm having a chemical pregnancy? Please read

Can any of you ladies that HavE experienced a previous chemical pregnancy please describe how your MC felt?

I'm very early in pregnancy (tested positive at 10DPO and I'm now 12DPO)

At 6pm last night I had strong period pain that last 4 hours long with a peaked painfulness of 8pm.

It then came back at 8am today (but this time it was similar to bowel pains on the left side, but I always get bowel pains during my period due to the prostaglandins that are produced during your period... So I'm thinking my body is producing prostaglandins to get rid of my pregnancy). Anyways I've had pains ALL day from 8am to now 8pm that does not go away with Panadol.

I have had 2 healthy pregnancies that ended in my 2 daughters, never a miscarriage before.

I'm sure something is seriously wrong.

I had my beta done today at 12Dpo and it was beta = 45. I will have new levels done in 48hours to see if my levels are rising or dropping.

I never ever had anything like this with my pregnancies before. I'm so devo'd!

I also had an U/S today which obviously didn't show a baby because it's too early, but the ultrasound showed a para-ovarian cyst and most concerning, the tech noted there was a puddle of "fluid in my endometrial cavity" which "raised the possibly or a recent misscarriage"....
    (Those were the techs words)

I'm so upset, your opinions please?

Sorry to hear this Samilia. I hope for you that it's just bean burrowing in nicely for you. Did the scan at least rule out an ectopic? I had lots of early cramping and pain with one. If the pain worsens please visit an ED. Have you had any bleeding? Hope it resolves and you see your numbers continue to rise x

I had no cramping with my chem preg. The line on the first response just faded away over 4 days and then I got an AF. A chem preg means the embryo implanted enough to register a reading on a pregnancy test but didn't continue so its not really an MC but a failed implantation, based on your cramping I would suggest that it's a pregnancy if you still have a good line on a hpt. Good luck.,

Hey, they scan didn't really say much to be honest because it's just too darn early. It's so stressful, frustrating and emotionally draining. They couldn't even see where the baby was because it's so early in pregnancy that a sac hasn't even developed yet. I just can't imaging this having a happy ending.. I mean cramping all day... I never got this with my other pregnancies. I will preggo test I the morning to see if they are getting darker or fainter. Thanks for yor reply.

Ps, when you say you had "pain with one" was that an eptopic or chem preg?

    Hey,
I guess I will just test every morning to see if lines fade or darken. Beta bloods in 48hours.

I had some pretty serious cramping with my pregnancy, and all pregnancies are different. I really hope this has a positive outcome for you.

FWIW, I didn't have any pain with my blighted ovum

Fingers crossed bub is burrowing in. With my chem, I had a faint line on the stick, then the next day, it was lighter again and then I went to the toilet and was bleeding. Due to my cycles being out of whack, I have no idea how many days I was, but at a guess, I would say around 2-3 weeks. I had no cramping before, but during the bleeding, I was cramping quite heavily.
    Best wishes xx

I had extreamly painful cramps when my first period was due along with some minor bleeding, still got the normal period symptoms bowel pain, acne, bloating etc. occasionally I was bed ridden with the cramps.
I had 2 previous miscarriages and thought it was going to be the same all the symptoms felt the same. The cramps and bleeding continued on and off until week 8.
I have a gorgeous 8 month old bubba asleep in the next room.

    Good luck xxx
