Ugghh that's so annoying! Does she not get how hard this is for you?? my useless gyno keeps saying well I'll just refer you onto IVF. I said to him one day, you realise our nearest clinic charges 10k an EPU cycle and 8 just for a transfer cycle?? He looked genuinely shocked and said really? I thought it was only a few thousand. WTF?

People don't seem to get the financial and emotional costs of IVF, nor that with UI even IVF isn't a magic cure. I just feel like nobody IRL gets it. Everyone around me has no trouble falling, in fact I'm surrounded by women with 'woopsie' pgs *sighs* and these are the ones that keep telling me "maybe it's time to just move on with your life, maybe you aren't meant to have another". Yeah thanks for that

She says that if we do IVF this year we can be pregnant together, I'm sorry but you don't know that so don't say it oh and thank you for pointing our how easy it is for you to get pregnant
It's funny how people assume Ivf is a miracle cure.. If I were you I wouldn't even be thinking about Ivf until u have all your tests done you might not need it

Woke up to a terrible clomid headache today. Looks like it's going to be a fun cycle.

I can't believe my FS refused to test me for NK cells even after classing us as unexplained and me asking and just expects me to hand over $10,00 for IVF then have it fail, What a stupid, I have 2 autoimmune disorders

They suck balls. Big hairy ones… We did IUI and IVF with one specialist and then after asking if we have tested for everything she kept saying yes yes yess.. Investigated myself and changed FS to get NK cells tested. He said all normal… Did another IVF…. Then started to look for another FS who specializes in immune issues. Image my disgust when I ask FS #2 for my results and find my NK cells were slightly elevated…. Request a biopsy which shows massively elevated NK cells…..

It really annoys me that they tell us not to read the internet etc etc and listen to them. If I hadn’t gone with my gut I would probably be broke and depressed (well more than I am anyway lol).

    END RANT

Sorry to hear about the bad you're having on clomid Delriium and starflame.

IVF drugs have been a breeze compared to clomid - I keep telling them they gave me the clomid just to make the ivf meds seem great.

AFM - first ever IVF egg pick up today. Was a little scared as the last time I was in surgery was for a D&C after my miscarriage. I just wanted to cry going in to the surgery. Topped it off with only 4 eggs out of 12 follicles. Said 4 had turned into cysts that they drained too - feeling pretty sore. I know it only takes one but i'm not feeling overly hopeful as the odds are not with me.
