I've now rescheduled my appointment to be on the 7th of April instead. Figured I should ride out this (whacky) cycle and see where it takes me first.

Are you going to start POAS ing according to the first, second, or third surge!? That's going to be an expensive week of testing! Fx one of them worked for you!
Thank goodness for ICs!! I'll keep some FRERs aside to test on 14DPO only for each surge. One would be awesome
Triplets would be crazy but definitely welcomed as well!!! Although I'm assuming highly unlikely!

After the true ovulation, the body would prepare then for AF if is not fertilised, so in theory i would count the final surge as O if it also matches with CM, cervix position, body signs etc?
Why cant our silly bodies just behave!! xxx
I was thinking the same about the surges - that the first two would have just been "misfires". I don't check my cervix, so no idea on that front. No real cramps to write home about so not sure, to be honest!

Let's see if I get AF in a 28 day cycle (or close to) and if she's not here by my appointment with the FS on the 7th, then I'll count it as a total crazy failure!

Hopefully this is the last true surge and body is now starting to build a healthy lining for bub!

Yes, multiple surges just mean your body get s to 95% there, but just can't push over the line so tries again.

omg my opk is FINALLY neg and I have side pains. Think this may be finally it!!!

This is one of the reasons I don't want to chart as well as OPKs. Also, the reason I want to go back to the FS - I don't want the stress any more of trying to work it out myself anymore.

Just started to feel this, and really appreciate this thread.
While I've only been on BH for a couple of months, I've been TTC since Oct 2010.
I am truly happy for all the BFPs and certainly share in their excitement, and imagine how it will feel when I finally get mine. But it also makes me wonder why it hasn't happened for us ( we are "unexplained sub-fertility"). How does it happen so quickly for so many ladies? Why not for me? Why not the ladies In This thread? Blargh.

Anyway, just my little down moment. And getting it off my chest! Glad to have the support on here!

Also any recommendations for some internet cheapies for HPT? I think it helps me to build-down to 14dpo, makes the BFNs easier to take. Still only CD5 so I think this is going to be a loooooooong month!

@Shrillian - some people can't use OPK's as they get too many positives.

I've been using them along with blood tests. I get some interesting results. The day I got my positive OPK I had a blood test and LH was only a 5, which is not a surge as I think it's meant to be over 20 . I was still getting a half strength lines on my OPKs and LH is 1. Maybe you're getting a little surge, no egg burst, so your body tries again a few days later but the surge isn't enough to burst the follie?
@OIC - I felt so crap yesterday I ended up in tears at work and had to come home. So embarrassing. The stress and pressure builds up and up and then just one little thing tips you over the edge. I have no idea why my body has just gone so crap after DD was born and why it can't just be right. There just doesn't seem to be anything i can do to make my hormones work right.

AF arrived this afternoon on CD22, so tomorrow will be CD 1 again. didn't even get started in my IVF meds as they are still monitoring me to see if I ovulated. natural ovulation, yeah right!
