Cinder - How annoying. Seems very strange.

Phee - I haven't had counselling, I probably should given I think TTC is sending me slowly insane, but have never quite made it. I do have a mandatory counseling session next week prior to starting IVF but I think this is different.

AFM- follow up appt with FS today. I was so nervous, burst into tears in the waiting room before I even got into my appointment. Anyway after 4 months on clomid and 15mts ttc he agreed that it is onto IVF for us. Suggested a down reg, synadril, puregon, ovidrel cycle with a 3d tf.

Not sure if anyone here knows or if i'm best off asking in the IVF forum but when I go into my nurse appointment next week I will most likely be day7. Would they start me this cycle based on a down reg or would I then have to wait until day 1 of the following cycle? I'm debating staying on the pessaries until next week so I can go in closer to day 1 and get started asap? I think the FS mentioned something about starting down-reg cycle on day 5 but I wasn't hearing anything properly. I just don't want yet another wasted month, a month of down reg and then 3 months later getting started on IVF.

Has anyone had counseling before (relating to ttc) and if so did it help? Our ivf clinic includes one session per cycle in the fee so I've made an appointment (I figured I might as well since it's free) but not really sure what he could possibly say that would be helpful.

Hi Phee, I've never had ttc counseling before but we've got one free session too with IVF. I'm not sure if we're going to use it or not but let us know how it goes & if it was good I think it would make sense because both people would have different ways of dealing with difficult situations, etc & might be nice to get it all out

    How is everyone going?

HeyMissA, I'm not sure about your question I'm sorry. I hope that someone is able to answer it for you

Del, is it this wk for your lap or was it last week? I hope they find something to help Make sure u rest up as much as u can...

Cinder, that's so annoying they won't give u your results. I hope u get to find out soon!! Have u done any more preg tests?

Can anyone tell me how long after taking Provera should I be expecting AF? I have to take it for 10 days but wasn't sure when to expect things to happen so to speak. I think I'm only up to about day 4. After I get AF I have to start taking the pill so they can control my cycles, it all seems so backwards, haha I'm hoping that the pill might help my skin to clear up, so that'd be an extra bonus!! It's awful atm.

Rocky when I took provera I got af 11 days after taking the last pill but I only took it for 5 days.

Pretty crap here, another pregnancy announcement today, another person pregnant who's had a baby and is now preg with a second all while I've been trying for one. Sucks. Feeling very sad about this cycle and in general not having a great morning so far :/

Thanks Star for letting me know about Provera I'm so sorry to hear. To be honest I've been struggling a little too. More pregancy announcements last week from close friends. A baby shower next week. Pregnant ladies around me everywhere at work & excitement about maternity leave etc. I just wish that I was able to plan & look forward to all that too. Gosh, it really is hard sometimes! I got a bit upset the other day when someone told me that making babies is meant to be easy & if it's not for us maybe we shouldn't be trying for kids! I probably said something I shouldn't of but I am really sick of rude & insensitive people !! Plus if they're saying things like that, they're not a good friend anyway.

Del, that's good it's on Fri. I can understand not looking forward to it though. It'll be good once it's all over & done with for you though

Feeling really crappy today, trying to drag myself out of bed to go to the drs for my blood test results.
Not sure I'll make it up there without passing out or throwing up.

I can't believe someone said that to you. If someone said that to me I'd let them have it. What an insensitive moron. If making babies was easy the earth would be totally over populated!!!
