Thank you for creating this thread delirium :-)

I am being stalked by pregnancy announcements, and baby bumps it seems!! An older guy I work with was raving about his daughter and how 'pregnant' she is....bless him but not what I need nor want to hear!!

We have been TTC for 3 years now, the last year through ICSI....we have had 4 failed transfers the latest one we found out on 30th December (good riddance 2013!!) we have pushed the limits physically, emotionally & financially in the last 12 months so we are giving ourselves a few months off....my tummy & veins are excited to not see needles for awhile!!

Let's hope we start seeing some much deserved BFPs in here soon, sending everyone best wishes & baby dust xx

They sure are Del. Weve sat and had a frank discussion with each other and if my gyno is not happy with how clomid is working for me and refers us on to a specialist then thats our journey over for us which really really sucks! TTC and infertility really really sucks

I'm so sorry starflame I really hope you get your BFP before that happens. We have had that talk several times now, I just can't give up. We are getting older though and soon it will be time to stop. I've set myself June/July this year. That will be 3 years and I can't go past that.

Rose - welcome. Your journey has been a long one

Fingers crossed 2014 is all our year

Thanks Del. Giving up will suck but its what we will have to do unfortunately. Ive thought for the past couple of years that I wouldnt get pregnant so maybe Im just not meant to have kids. If thats the case Im sure after a while I will adjust. Where are you in your cycle Del?

Welcome Bel. Our stories are so similar. Same time ttc, EP around the same time (Mine was in July). I know what you mean about the family not feeling complete. People tell me, you have 2 healthy kids, be happy for what you have and accept there won't be more. But I can't. We have always wanted 3.

Hi ladies hope you don't mind me joining. We have been TTC for 2 years now, 5 rounds of clomid and no pregnancies. It's one of those things that is impossible to really talk about with people who haven't been through it. Friends say 'at least it's fun trying!' But after months of disappointment it tends to lose the fun! In laws tell me we clearly aren't trying hard enough. Even DH thinks it's not that big a deal because we already have 1 child. He doesn't understand that each month I see that age gap get bigger and bigger, I always wanted 2 reasonably close in age but now it will be at least 5 year gap.

Ok sorry for the novel, feels good to get that out. Big hugs to all of you

    Hi Glamazon

my family don't get it either. I had a mate tell me recently to just stop trying and it will happen. Well meaning but not at all helpful. Hopefully this year will be your year too and the journey can end.

Even if I get pg now there will be a 7 year gap with my youngest.
