I'll do some research on it. I've had trouble getting my gp to give me a referral for further care. I've been thinking of changing gps but it's difficult to get into other practices. I'm well aware my weight is a big issue to so I'm working on that at the moment.

Sent from my pho....oh who am I kidding. It's rarely used as a phone

Hi I'd like to join too. Been ttc no:2 since my son was born 3.1 years ago. Have pcos and IR too and overweight which I know makes a huge difference but I conceived at an unhealthy weight (ironically) so am hoping it will happen again but at a better weight

Hi ladies! We've been trying for 3 years on and off. Found out last year dh has low sperm count and we had 2 options. Get him to loose weight to increase sperm count, or do icsi. My weight was too high to so icsi so I tried to loose weight. I'm now 3 months post op from a gastric sleeve surgery and have lost 24kilos. Dh is going to have it done early this year and we will either call naturally or have to do icsi. But at least we both will have addressed our weight issues. Still doesn't make it any easier ttc wise when you are desperate for a baby

Best of Luck to everyone! *Fingers crossed*

I'm Day 32 (Norm 36 day cycle) and 10 DPO.

DP and I tried heaps this Cycle, but I'm not confident as last Cycle was a 53 day cycle (>_<) so I was basing our relations on a 36 cycle. (T^T)

Hi all! I would love to join you. Had my first FS apt today. Blood test done today to check AMH level, SA for hubby next week, ultrasound and HyCoSy on Friday (as long as my stupid period is gone by then ). I look forward to having people who know what it's like to talk to! Is anyone else dealing with a Fertility Specialist? xxxx

    hi

we were seeing a specialist for quite a while. Had all those tests, including DH. They couldn't find anything wrong with either of us. He put me on clomid despite already ovulating. I fell pg in the final cycle and lost it (I believe from a thin lining from the drug). We were told ICSI wouldn't work and the next step was IVF. We don't have the money for it

Hope you find some answers. In my experience the worst possible diagnosis apart from complete sterility is unexplained infertility

Hi Delerium! Sorry to hear of your recent loss I totally get what you're saying, I would rather have something small wrong that they can fix than get unexplained infertility! At least then in theory they can give something for you to fix it. If that makes sense lol. IVF is very expensive and very stressful from what I hear. I hope it's not a necessity for me! Have you been to a specialist who specialises in multiple miscarriage? I just really hope my period sorts itself out and finishes by Friday! Who or what are your two little munchkins? xxxxxx

Im seeing a gyno and at our next appointment we may be referred to a fertility specialist. We cant afford to do that so hopefully I manage to get pregnant before that happens!

I have two beautiful kids miss. Our first took 4.5 years to conceive. I worked out we've been ttc all up for over 8 years. **** that's depressing typing that.

IVF is very expensive. Out here, I'm looking at 10k first cycle for an EPU as well with 4k back, 8k after that. 4-6k per cycle is a big gamble for a maybe.

Star - the specialists are a killer
