Are they waiting for something really important ? I'd let the re know and get them to ask the ll's to stop. Can you lock your letterbox?

We paid for mail redirection when we went away but it didn't catch every letter - we found one quite chewed by a snail in the box when we got back, plus it was still being redirected after the expiry date.

I would ring the Re and tell them you are not comfortable with them going through your mail. That you will bring any mail into the real estate office next week but after that you will return them to sender or forward them on if they give you a address for a short period of time.

Can you put a lock on your letterbox at all? Otherwise I'd contact the RE in writing and let them know it's not on.

You can collect for them but it is illegal to go through other peoples letterboxes like them going through yours. If they don't live there they cannot keep going through the letterbox. We used to get letters sent to us from the RE for the landlords and had to tell them off and ask why they were doing it we never met landlord he isn't even in Australia. At an old address i got mail continuously for old tennant including important mail from lawyers 2 yrs later i stopped returning to sending and started chucking as was fed up with it I had to sign papers to say I would not inconvenience the next lot of tennants with redirecting my mail.
