Yeah, maybe it's not thrush at all. Hugs, I feel sorry for you. Feeding dramas are the pits.

My hospital is really small. I think the nearest one would be at the larger hospital 2hrs away. We are going that way in a few wks so ill try for an appt if it's not healed soon.

They kept telling me I had nipple thrush but nothing would work. I used the same creams as you but the pain was excruciating. I started on magnesium, started using the gel discs and lansinoh and finally after 6 weeks the pain went. I don't know if any of that will help

I used to stand in the shower crying, even water on my chest was like torture, but I was such a stubborn mule I wouldn't give in. For no reason other than me, I had the support to do anything I liked. Hang in there, it should turn around.

Try bub in a different hold for a few feeds to give relief to the cracked part of your nipple.
Bub will be putting pressure on a different section of your nipple and you may be able to get a bit of healing.

Its only a bad stinging pain for a few seconds as she is latching now. Not the full on burning of the thrush. I'm confident the thrush is gone and the lansinoh seems to be helping as the crack is getting smaller. Thanks for asking
