Did they say you need to go for a follow up?
I was thinking this myself, that perhaps a cyst burst or something..

Very early in my pregnancy mine was Ivf I felt like I was getting af. Like I could push one out. Lots if cramping. I hope it's just lots of cramping, being anxious and in limbo is totally consuming. I hope for a positive outcome for you.

Was there a point though that your cramping lasted all of a day? I just can't feel like this could be normal.

I wouldn't put any stock in the results of this scan - it's in no way indicative of a viable or non-viable pregnancy. You're at least two weeks away from a scan being in any way reliable in that regard.

If it will give you peace of mind then keep getting your hcg levels tested.

AF-like cramps are completely normal. It's not just about implantation, it's about your uterus stretching to accommodate the embryo, it's about the hormone surges that help your pregnancy progress and it can also be wind cramps.
    This is very well said.

I'm sorry you're going through this. I have been through a miscarriage and had a 'normal' pregnancy. Both times I had cramps more so when I was pregnant with my DS. I was cramping so bad I really thought I was getting my period. Like Nancy said, there's a lot if changes happening down there.

Try and stop googling, rest is the best thing you can do. Easier said than done, I know!

I hope it all works out ok!

    Hi samilia,

My story is that of a good one I had cramping so bad before I got my BFP with DD1, I would have been around 4w - 4w+2. I wasn't TTC, so it really stuck out as abnormal to me. I have endometriosis though, do you? I feel that caused my severe cramping. I remember it being really sharp to the point I needed a heat pack at work is a sure fire way of announcing "THIS GIRL HAS HER PERIOD" but af never came, so it was probably my first symptom

I also spotted with her a bit, then had a small bleed around 14w.

    Good luck

Yes, your right.. But as silly as it sounds I feel like I need to do do something.. And at the moment I can do nothing more than google, it's all I have. I'm just trying to find good outcome of people that had a similar situation to me. It's silly I guess because just because they had that outcome doesn't mean I will. I'm an anxious mess. I tell you what, if I didn't have two children to look after I would just try to sleep ever day away until I'm along enough to see a heartbeat of there is one.

I'm not sure if I have endometriosis but I had lots of pain years ago and they said I had sticky adhesions on my uterus, they found them while doing a laparoscopy. They never gave me a diagnosis I don't think.

...but your story is comforting. Xx thanks
