Becca do your first response tomorrow morning then book yourself for confirmation bloods with your gp. Then pick your OB (if your going private) and make your first appointment as they fill up fast. Not sure on public though sorry!

I'm doing a frer tomorrow. Will have to try and find time to book bloods. I hate their silly opening hours. I think I will go public. Thought I'd have more time to save!

Once you get a positive preg test you need to see you go and they will give you a hospital referral and the blood test form. Sullivan nic next to sunnybank hospital are open from 7am til 6pm weekend and Saturday mornings so they have good opening hours.

Booked a gp appointment for Saturday! Going to ask to go to maters mothers hospital. Not sure if I should request the midwife group too.

The doctor I went to just refused to write me a referral until I'm 12 weeks!! I booked in to see someone different on Monday. I really want to get into mater mothers and the midwife group. I'm scared they will book out! A ahhh!!!

I honesty don't think you will have any issues getting in. I had a terrible experience at the mater first time around and want to go anywhere else with my 2nd. I was even prepared to risk going to Logan but they rejected me as I lived within the mater catchment area.

Id go to another doctor. I was high risk and I sent my referral at 10 weeks and I only gor accepted because I was high risk, despite being in the catchment area. So long as you've had bloods done or a dating scan you should be able to be referred...

Hmmm I get bloods on Monday and have a form for an US but need to book it. How long does it take to get bloods back?
