    Default Blocked ear?

My ear has been blocked since yesterday afternoon! Most annoying feeling ever! Ive tried to unblock it by like blowing my nose, nothing too extreme, but nothing works! Ive recently been sick with the flu or flu like symptoms anyway and ugh! Now a blocked ear. Would this mean a trip to see my gp or should i wait to see if it unblocks itself and could this cause an ear infection as thats the last thing i want !

You could try ear candles and see if that helps unblock it

I think it's hard to tell if its just wax or an infection because they both cause the deafness. I think if waxol drops don't clear it up then its probably an infection. So gp and script for antibiotic drops

If you are painfree there just might be some fluid in the middle ear left over from your recent cold. I wouldn't worry about a bad infection if it's just blocked, but not sore.
Trial saline sprays of the nose to clear out the whole system, and an antihistamine like Telfast to help decrease any further fluid formation. It will resolve.
