    Default Gastro question

If your nieces and nephew had just spent 3 days with kids that have started a gastro bug, would you be hesitant to have contact with the nieces & nephew in case they come down with it? Or would that not phase you?

I would steer clear mainly because of my job and i hate gastro, esp if i got it over the weekend on my days off work.

I'd stay away. I'm terrified of gastro.

Definitely stay away. Better to be safe than sorry. Especially with gastro.

I would stay away. We have been the ones possibly incubating before and I find people are very happy to miss play dates if you tell them why.

Stay away, keep hands and surfaces clean. Tbh if anyone has been around anyone with gastro chances are you'll be in contact with the bug, that's just how it is unfortunately. If it eases your mind I work in pharmacy and obviously come in contact with it and load of other illnesses and in the past 2 years I've had gastro maybe twice and am lucky to get the common cold 2-3 times a year.

If you do get it fluids, fluids, fluids!
