    I'm curious to know how many of you have lost weight since stopping soft drinks? I lost about 5 kilos when I switched to water

    Oh wow, well done! Is that just from not drinking soft drink or are you excersising too? Are you only drinking water now?

    This thread has inspired me to have a go at ditching soft drink for a couple of weeks and going from there.

    Thanks KaraB I can only attribute it to less coke. I have eaten less junk food and tried to drink more water. Sometimes am too busy to eat 3 proper meals and snacks so maybe that's helping too. I'm drinking water and weak lemon flavoured cordial. I find when I'm drinking alot of water the taste is just so boring. I get sick of it. I had some coke today and although it tasted good still it satisfied me for a while. Funny how the less you have of something the less you crave it!

    Yeah I know. I couldn't drink or eat anything sweet in my first trimester it tasted gross and sickly sweet. I could only drink chilled water, the colder the better in fact. Straight from the tap is yucky. I put water in a bottle in the freezer until it's icy cold and that improves the taste big time.
