I had that. Sounds like the endo is on the pouch of douglas, mine was. See a naturo and start taking vitex among other things. Truly, it works 54 cycles with DD of nothing, pg first cycle of using the naturo

Hmm yes I think I might look into a Natropath, do they look at different things compared to the Chinese herbs?

This. I have stage 4 too & the same symptoms. Have you considered a second opinion? Sometimes you need the surgery - mine are always barely 12 months apart but I get so bad I can't work.

Nobody should suffer this way & I feel your pain. Try a warm bath, panadol & rose tea.

I have had those pains as well, I had stage 4 but it's been much better since I had three laps. The best thing I found was to eat minimal sugar around the time of af, drink lots and eat small meals. I noticed a huge difference when I cut out sugar. Following a low-fructose diet may help, theres a link between fructose malabsorption and endo. But basically try to keep small amounts moving through the bowel.

Oh and make sure your iron levels are good because low iron can cause heavy bleeding which equals more pain. I second the vitex, it really lessened my flow and the the pain. Not sure if you can take it when ttc tho?

Good luck, it's horrible. I can only describe that pain as being stabbed with a knitting needle, it takes my breath away.

Wow! I have fructose malabsorption so I guess that is a link! I don't eat fructose anymore which has helped, the pain is horrible and it's in the same spot so I don't know, could it be scaring from other laparoscopys? I am considering seeking a second opinion as we are saving for our nxt round so we do have time!

IMO there is more of a scientific basis to naturopathy. Vitex to help the estrogen dominance, vit E to help heal the scar tissue, zinc and fish oils (I forget what they did lol) EPO for PMS and hormones. naturos tend to treat the root cause, which is the hormone imbalance. They will also get you to do a detox as well.

Keep away from any soy products as well. It makes the estrogen imbalance way worse. You can take vitex while ttc, in fact it's great for it. It helps with ovulation, then increased progesterone production in that week between conception and getting the positive. Just make sure you come off it when you get your BFP.

I get mine off ebay but you can buy it at health food stores. Vitex has been clinically proven to work. They say it take up to 3 cycles to really start working but with me it works within days. I can't guarantee it will for you, but it was a wonder herb for me

    I use this one

I get the sharp pains to mainly
On my left side as my left tube is adhered to my intestine. Tmi alert ! I usually just make sure I eat lots of fibre in my diet so that there is no pushing involved I find that helps because when there is any sort of pressure down there that brings on sharp pains especially when it's that time of the month I also make sure I'm stocked up on naprogesiac (period pain medicine) and for me that clears all cramps which really helps to I also get the occasional pulling/twisting pains aswel I just try to avoid that by not getting up to fast lol

    Hope this helps !
