Default What was your childs height at prep

info on how tall your child was when starting prep, its just a question i been wondering for a while, worried that my little one isnt gonna grow lmao and be the shortest, she still has 1yr to go till she starts but she is only 92cm , i dont think she will even be 100cm before she starts she starts prep at 4.7yrs old

how old and what height was your child when starting prep thanks

My DD starts in 3 weeks and is 20kgs and 110cm, size 10/11 foot.

But, each child is different (which you know no doubt!) and my DD2 is currently quite petite.

I wouldn't worry too much - my DD1 literally just shot up these past few weeks.

My DD was the smallest kid in prep last year. She turned 5 in May and was definitely under a metre tall. Her school shoes were a size 9! She's about to start yr 1 and I measured her a couple of days ago and she's 106cm.

My ds1 is starting kinder in a couple of weeks. He will be 6 in June. He's 125cms and 26kg... In size 1 shoes. He is definitely at the other end of the spectrum though and will be one of the biggest I'm sure.

my DS will be 4.7 starting in 3ish weeks and is 124cm... He is a giant, i wouldn't worry height is just a number.
I have spent way too much time worrying about how he is going to be treated being one of the youngest kids and by far one of the tallest, but at the end of the day it wont matter

I'll measure DD (turned 5 in August) tomorrow but she is only tiny ... just weighs 18kg. Size 4 shirt and skirt are too big and she has got size 9 school shoes.
