Subbing too. I'm a last minute 'oh crap the in laws are coming over' type cleaner.

I've liked a page on fb called the organised housewife which seems to be pretty good if you have fb! She has a daily task most days that doesn't take you long. Just need to be motivated now!

This is mine below. And the ones with different areas is what I alternate between each week. Probably do about 2 hours of cleaning per day spread out. Except on Monday and Saturday, they are my days off apart from the general cleaning. Also, this hasn't happened over Christmas break as I wanted to relax so just been doing what is needed. Will start back up Monday. I prefer to do a bit each day rather than trying to cram it all in one day and this way I can't mis anything, it will get cleaned eventually.

    Cleaning

    Tuesday - paperwork

    Wednesday - Bathroom
    1 - ensuite architraves and shower *
2 - bathroom architraves and bath

Hmmm, I'm not as good at this as you. Mine goes:

Every second Thursday run around like a crazy woman tidying so the cleaner can come the next day. Any tips on how to ******line the process?

We need to keep things pretty tidy as our house is fairly small, so I just make sure it's mostly tidy before she comes (floor clear, washing put away, dishes done etc).

I was oversimplifying a bit, lol! We do need to do spot cleaning and day-to-day things between cleaner visits.

We probably won't have the cleaner for too much longer unfortunately, I'll be going on maternity leave in June so we need to reduce expenses. I'm thinking a schedule of some sort will be useful when that happens!
