So if the allegations against the doctor about losing his privileges to practice in other states is true, how the flip is he allowed to keep working? I don't understand that.

I don't even know how to properly word how I feel about what has happened to Olivia and her parents. My heart breaks for them

It really is awful. I cannot imagine what they're going through right now.

Oh so so so sad. I just cannot imagine. Just out of curiosity why can't forceps be banned and drs have to use that vacuum thing?

If it is the case the hospital did not check out this dr enough before letting him deliver babies I hope they are persecuted within every extent of the law.

I hope there are some sort of negligence laws the dr faces and receives jail time.

How wonderful the parents chose to donate her organs... A truly selfless gesture when they would have had every reason to be selfish.

Oh that's so horrible and sad, her poor parents
After my c section I was told a mark on my DDs chin was from forceps, and that most c sections were forceps births (because the incision is pretty small). Banning the tool seems excessive, I'd rather see doctor training improve, and better back ground checks so a banned doctor can't practice elsewhere.

I cried when I first read this story. Too close to home for me too. My ds received a serious head injury from vacuum extraction and could have easily died. Thankfully the damage wasn't permanent. My heart breaks for this family, a perfectly healthy baby lost.

Default WARNING TRIGGER - literally the saddest thing I have ever heard :(

This is quite graphic - I'm sorry. I am in tears for these parents. How utterly heartbreaking
