I'm not against home birth at all, but it's not for me.
I'd rather be at hospital where other people can clean up all the mess etc lol. But really that's the only reason.

I have trouble keeping up in here and on fb, I'm on fb a lot more though and just read along here when I can.

Great job updating the list Calstar.
Next time your altering can u change my age to 30 please? Rhett was conceived 2 weeks after I turned 30.

I wanted to labour and birth in the bath, however once I was in labour and got I to the bath I didn't like it. Was only in there half an hour and wanted out again!
So my advice is just go in with an open mind, and be open to plans changing.

While we are sharing conception stories
    Tmi
When Rhett was conceived, dh had cut the end of his finger off 2 weeks earlier, so his hand and arm was in plaster to above his elbow, he was getting dizzy a lot so often he would have a bath of an evening and I would have a shower while he was in the bath so that I could help him out and help him get dry. Which would often end in dtd!!
By o time he was ok showering himself but I sent him a cheeky message during the day and convinced him to have a bath while I was in the shower.
And now Rhett is here 😜

Just read your birth story BT.
You are very brave, I could not do it at home. I really wanted the support of the midwives even in the days after birth.
And felt a lot more comfortable at the hospy than I did at home.
I also hemorrhaged and then had a epi AFTER giving birth and went to surgery to have my 3rd degree tear stitched back up. So I'm really glad I was in hospital for that.
