Sorry Little Ted! Didn't mean to worry you. Scan was so amazing. Saw our little one and we even got to hear a heart beat. Such a massive relief! I'll post a pic in my pregnancy diary soon.

I'll have to try the shower steam method. Although is it risky to have hot showers while pregnant?

Ohh I hadn't even thought about hot showers yet! Spas are out though cause of the heat right?

Yeah they are Becca, that's why I thought hot showers might be bad as well? I hope not. I love my showers stinking hot.

I still have hot water on my back not my tummy.

On the talk of drugs at this point my plan is to use good pain killers previous badly broken tail bone, hips that easily dislocate for even just rolling the wrong way in bed im expecting a fair bit of pain quite early. Will be forgoing any pethidine have not had it before but it makes both parents and my sister violently ill and see that most times i give it at work. As a student i watched epidurals put in and always said no i wouldnt have one as looked too painful going in but now with physical problems im considering it heavily.

If i end having to have a CS due to cervix not dilating due to previous LLETZ which is high probability i will agree to spinal/epidural but not a GA want to be out of OT/recovery quick. Also wont be good since i will need a full GA weeks later for gallbladder removal.

My mum felt the same @beccaboobang, she was much more comfortable in a hospital. Its always good to research all your options though - my SIL is having twins so can't have a waterbirth but I suggested to her that she ask whether she could labour in water. I highly recommend labouring in water if you can! The feeling after the birth is amazing too.

You should get facebook just to hang out with us @Little Ted!

BT I'm hoping to got to the mater and have heard they have baths. I know I can't birth in water but I'd love to labour in one. Beccaboobaby may even have been conceived in a spa bath!

    Ahem. TMI girl!!

FYI becca Mater is installing a birthing pool, and girl in my dig is going public and is hoping it's ready by the time she's due.

I asked my ob about it though and she said no go:/ (going private). Hopefully I'll get to labour in water but even that's restricted (if bub needs to be monitored or if your waters have broke they won't let you). O well
