Well kaz said 20, you say 19, that's pretty much the same. Bub won't come on that day anyway lol so it's all relative.

Very true. Baby will come when baby wants. Dp thinks baby will come late.

It's standard for a first bub to go over, so is say his chances of being right are pretty high

The only time it really matters is if the pregnancy has progressed so far that the placenta fails and you don't go into labour naturally before hand.

If you have a rough idea Bec of what it can't possibly go beyond due to your early bfp, then don't push dates beyond that.

How far beyond generally is safe to go to? 41 or 42 weeks?

Normal pregnancy is between 38-42 weeks. We only had problems when they pushed well beyond this against our wishes and almost killed our baby.

They suggest not to go over 42 weeks. As long as the placenta is still functioning though, it's all good :-)

i told OB as soon as bub is normal weight they are coming out i am not giving birth to a baby the size of my brother no almost 13 lbers here lol. Earlier she is out earlier gallbladder will come out too. Is a possibility of coming early though due to previous LLETZ so i dont mind even if only a wk or 2

Hmm well I might count 2 weeks after the 19th of sept then that's it. But I guess it's way too early to worry about that now.
