    I've been regularly practicing kegels thanks to Trio.

    We will all definitely be better for it

    You could check yourself? (Using your fingers, I mean). Or if you use tampons you might be able to feel it?

    I'm no physio, but from my understanding, they are the muscles that span across your undercarriage and support everything from your bot round to your lady bits. They tend to tire as we get older or go through trauma so like regular muscles they like a good work out to keep in shape. Try squeezing in and up both front and back - hold for 3 seconds or do quick squeezes - mix it up. And yes, DH should be able to feel it. If not sure - they are also the muscles you contract when stopping your wee mid******.

    Sorry - didn't mean to confuse. You're probably doing them right - just ask DH next time you're doing a group activity It's great you're starting them now - I don't think I even knew about them properly myself until I started down the baby path.

    Or if you don't want to wait for mr tugs mrs tugs, you can wack a finger or two in your vagina and squeeze, you'll feel it tighten. I see the continence nurse on Monday, so I will impart my new found wisdom on you all. I'm hoping she gives me a new routine, mines getting repetitive.
