    Default 4 month old teething?

My son has recently gotten very agitated and chews crazily on anything you put in his mouth, which is different from his casual sucking / gentle bite. Goes red chewing on things. Is it possible for such a young baby to teeth? This is my first and i don't know alot about it all.
he also rubs his face on my shoulder heaps now, and quite rough.

Could quite possibly be teeth moving around. Apply teething gel especially before feeds. If can hang onto things, give a wet washer to chew on.

My DS got his first two bottom front teeth at 4mths 2wks

Definitely, some babies are actually born with teeth

Sounds like teething to me. My baby got 2 teeth at this age and was unsettled, red, drooly etc for a few weeks before I saw the teeth. Try rubber teething ring

Have you tried some Gripe Water. I find it really good for settling when teeth are a problem as well as wind etc.

Ill get him back onto the gripe water and see how that goes. I got him a water filled refrigerated teething ring, and he likes it. But he hasn't quite got the concept of holding things and putting them in his mouth yet. So he can only have while we are sitting with him.

Iv felt around and can't feel anything (not that id know what i was looking for). And iv had a look but can't see much. Sometimes some areas look a little red.
