Thanks everyone! I'm 12 DPO and did another test this morning using an ic. It was a bit lighter than last night, but I'll buy a digi at lunch time today and save it until Sunday or Monday to use. For now I'm happy just knowing it's happening

I've been doing OPKs each day as I had a minor surge earlier in the month, but not dark enough to be a positive reading.

I've now got another surge starting to build up (lines have been getting darker for the last two days).

Going to keep monitoring to see what my body does.

Do you test once or twice a day? I found that once you get the two lines the same strength, start doing them 12 hourly. That's what I did this time around. After I got my first positive OPK one evening, we didn't DTD that night, I did another test the next morning it was still positive and the two bands were the same strength, then I did another that night and the test line was sooooo much darker than the control line, so we DTD that night (the last time before that was 3 days before - so one day before our positive OPK) and now I'm UTD.

I think this is the problem with OPKs is that once they are 'positive' with 2 lines the same strength, then depending on the test, ovulation could be anywhere from 12 to 48 hours later and unless you test 12 hourly around the time you think you O, it's easy to get the timing all wrong and miss out on the window if you aren't BD every day.

Do you ever get O pain?

Well I've been there done that, so if you have any questions, fire away - I'll try and remember!

Have you put your dates into a pregnancy tracker to track the growth of your bub?

I did for the first half of the month (1-5 Jan), but my afternoon readings were very feint compared to my morning ones.

Since they have gotten darker again, I'll be doing them morning and evening to check how it goes (I don't know of I actually ovulate regularly as my cycles are very irregular AF every 3-4 months).

Just trying to see what my body does this month before going back to the FS.

ETA - I get what I "think" is O pain (sharp on one side a fortnight before period). But as I said before, not certain if I'm actually releasing an egg.

Everyone I have told is. It still doesn't feel real. I'm sure once the scan happens it will. But I've only known for four days.
And thank you very much I am sure I will have questions in abundance haha
No am a day or two off with my dates so I haven't but I guess I can change it after my scan I may do that now

How long have you been trying? I used to be like that before going on the pil.
Once I came off it when I got pregnant with DD I was worried I would be the same and started taking vitex tablets and my first cycle off bc was over 40 days, so I started taking it and that cycle was only 31 days and when we conceived DD.

So maybe that's worth a try?
