Yeah I also had to do ICSI because of dh sperm quality which I think was another $500, I know USA is way different to us but I know a ladie with no insurance who did ICSI with Pgd and only got 3 embryos and her oop is $27000, so at the end of the Fay its not that bad, my clinic as brand new state of the art, it has a day hospital attached and is set up in hotel apartments so if you have to travel like me there is an option to stay at the clinic, I have my fertility specialist and a ivf nurse who are both awsome, its very personal and it feels as though they are going through this with you, my last bloods my nurse said she sat at her desk for half an hour trying to figure out how to tell me and then offered for me to come around for a hug and a chat seeing as she knows I'm in town on my own, its really great knowing I have my whole clinic backing me even if it is a little more pricey, I have a few optional extras and if I'm already paying that much I may aswell go the whole hog.

still fun trying- your clinic sounds beautiful. can i ask who u are with? its great to have all that support when you need it the most.

mine are really good too but by the end of my ivf cycle i always go a little crazy and seem to resent them for it not working. i know its irrational and i am just looking for someone to blame. when i finally get over it and go back for my next meeting it feels like i am going back home. thats a really nice feeling.

Im with Cairns Fertility Centre, I look forward to all my visits. And its just a nice environment, My nurse even came to see me after my transfer to wish me luck with the week and to check out the picture you get of your emby in your uterus, I think that its a nice touch. The closer I get to the transfer the more I worry about it not working.

wow- a picture of your emby in the utuerus. thats not something i have heard of before. how awesome. the only thing i would worry about is if the cycle fails i wouldnt be able to cope with seeing the photo. when i had my miscarriage the fs offerred me a photo but it was just so sad that i couldnt bring myself to take it home. so he just kept it in my file in case i ever wanted it.

Yeah I was the same with my Missed MC, I had beautiful U/S pics but didn't want them, I still have the pic of my Emby in a box, I was intending on putting my first BFP in with it and make something nice for the little guy
I have my date set now, ET should be 28th Feb.

Stillfun - how come you know your transfer date already? Or did you mean 28 Jan?

I thought that a print off from the ultrasound machine was pretty standard now? Or is that just at the big Sydney clinics?

AF is due in the next few days, and I'm actually feeling quite positive about about this cycle. This time round my FS know what drugs I need, so maybe that's why.

I had a dream last week that I was pregnant, but in the dream I couldn't remember if I had done IVF or had fallen pregnant (which is impossible with no tubes). How's everyone else feeling?

    Hi All
I'd like to join in too - although I'm in limbo until FS appointment on 24th.
Hoping to do a natural FET in Feb.
I too have a IVF baby (well, actually he's one now) - VikkiB I think we may have been in some of the same threads before!
    Wishing everyone luck

Hi all good luck to everyone that's starting soon or already started 😊
I did start jabbing 10days ago but when I had scans and bloods today they cancelled my cycle over 60 follicles and oestrogen too high so unfortunately I'm out of action until beginning of match hopefully new med dosage and closer monitoring will avoid this in the next cycle
