Hi Amandale, I am doing really good!, i cant wait for my transfer. I find my best way of coping is not compare yourself with anyone else, After i did my egg retreival i was so disapointed that we only got 6 eggs! Seeing as i have been following so many other people who had 15-20 eggs, I have then gone on to realise that its quality not quantity, Some of these women with 20 eggs only ended up with 2 or 3 embryos! I take everything as it comes, every scan or blood test is a hurdle jumped, I think my FET will go so much better as my body will be better prepared, all the stim meds can really mess with you and i will be going into this relaxed and ready to go home with a little happy blast that will continue to grow, the most stressful part for me is parting with the money LOL

That's so good you have remained positive 6 eggs is better than no eggs and it only takes one !! Where do you live ? I live Sydney and found a clinic that does Medicare rebate which means I will only be out of pocket 1300 it's good to shop around haha

Good luck !! I hope everything goes well for you keep us updated

Bel and I are also in Sydney. Last stim cycle I had 7 eggs and ended up with one transferred (DS) and one frostie (miscarried). That was the best collection I ever had - the other two stim cycle only collected 3. I think 15-20 eggs isn't normal or a recipe for success in most cases.

I'm expecting AF next week on cycle length, but I had a lot of CM this week, so I'm wondering if this might be a longer cycle. I'm not in any great rush to start jabbing!

I live on a cattle prperty in nth Qld and my nearest clinic is in Cairns (8hrs away) My OOP is a little more because we had to freeze sperm $500 then day hospital fee is $900 then anesthesioligist $550 then Cryopeservation $750 then doctors fee $450 the IVF its self was $7150 and Medicare rebate was $5600, I also had to stay in hotel apartments for 2 weeks while stimming $2200, it all really adds up. Im glad i dont need to be in there for long with the FET but that will still cost arount $2500 OOP Its just so expensive! and so frustrating when you see undeserving people have children.

I know it's very hard I have been really lucky to find a great clinic where I will only
Be paying 2500 up front and out of pocket 1300.
Still given that I am only 22 and df is 24 it's still quite costly plus we have our wedding this year. It is horrible seeing people who didn't want their pregnancy and don't deserve it just get it they drink all the time, smoke and take drugs and yet they are still able to fall pregnant that's what gets me the most iv had to do a big Facebook clean out because it got to me way to much plus that's not the sort of people I want to be associated with.

Anyway I really hope you get your BFP next cycle you deserve it !

Yeah very well priced and I Sussed out why just to make sure it wasnt dodgey lol it's because the specialists are rostered so you may have a different one each time which doesn't bother me also Ivf Australia is the parent company to this company so this one is Medicare covered as they only do basic Ivf and iCsi no doner or anything like that so it just makes them cheaper it's fantastic and made it possible for my df and I to even have a chance it pays to research
