    Congratulations Kymbo!

The scientist called this morning and we now have 8 embryos, not 7. Apparently the 8th egg fertiliser after all. 4 are only B grade and the other 4 are A grade, but one of those has fragmentation. Of the A's, two are stand out.

So its exciting that we've got 8 embryos, but disappointing that 5 are likely not going to be good enough to use/freeze.

Go Kymbo! What wonderful news for you. Congrats.

Vikki, great news about your embies. Dont feel down if you cant freeze them all, rather focus on the ones that can be transfered. Remember.....it only takes one.
A big hello to all the other ladies.

Hey girls, thought I'd join in if ok??

Just got AF and about to start cycle #7, with my first medicated double FET (I've turned into a long timer)! I did another stim cycle in January and have sent 3x 5 day old frosties to PGD. Whilst we await the results, I'm transferring my final 2 frosties from the last batch...

We're trying a few new things this time - clexane and prednisolone pre and post transfer... We can't find a reason for the repeat m/c so FS willing to try anything at this point! Hoping it's finally our turn!!

Vikki - it's sad watching the numbers drop, just remember a 15-20% success rate is normal. We collected 21 eggs in jan, 16 mature, 11 fertilised... On day 4, we still had 8. The change to blastocyst is when the biggest attrition happens, and we had a mini genocide - freezing only 3. Whilst expected, it was devastating.

Kymbo - congrats to being up the duff!

MFI coupled with repeat miscarriage - TTC since Dec 2011, ICSI/IVF since January 2013... Cycle #7 starts Feb 2014

Vicki, completely understand the feeling of numbers dropping. We had 4 frozen embies and went in for FET, they had to thaw all 4 only 1 survived, fingers crossed for you dear.
