CD19 & I think I might be finally heading towards O! The bottom two opks are from 7:30am & 1pm today. Now that they are finally getting darker, how often should I test? First month using them so I'm a little unsure.

Thanks Felicia.I appreciate your kind words.

This journey can be so hard sometimes and I know I really can not complain as there are some people that are in far worse circumstances and have been trying for years. But as selfish as it may seem I just wish it would hurry up and be our turn already. I also seem to see pregnant women every where I go, which makes me a little sad some days.

Also I will need to change my testing date to the 24th please.

Twice a day would still suffice imo. I used to check once in morning/mid-morning and again by 6pm for 2-3 days leading upto O to make sure I didn't "miss" the surge.

This is only my 2nd month with opks. 2nd official cycle ttc for our first baby with tracking, checkups, medicines/supplements etc after getting tested with pcos.
And God knows how many cycles (read months/a yr at least) since we stopped using protection (I was never on the pill). But those times were never serious you know. In a way it feels nice to know when I ovulate ...at least I feel I'm not shooting in the dark .
I am hopeful.. that day is not too far away for all of us. This is the least we can do right? Be hopeful and keep the faith?

I'm cooking lamb shanks in the slow cooker and hell I'll even think about making something yummy for dessert. It had bloody better work. I'm getting impatient lol. This is month 7 of "officially" trying, month 9 of "let's see what happens" trying. I'm over it!
I hear you on shift work! This is the first month I haven't had tons of nights and have actually been able to chart properly...beforehand FF couldn't really pick up much as my temps were all over the place from charting at all different times! I haven't tried using OPK's yet but that would be interesting trying to get them consistent! Are you a nurse by any chance? xx

Haha that's okay, a little bit of stalking is healthy ;-p

Thanks very much though, really glad everything in life seems to be moving in a forwards motion!

CD16 and I seem to still be having trouble to get my LH surge. With how dark my tests have been they should be positive by now. I'm feeling so disheartened by this cycle. We've been trying for 7-8 months now
